Using Serial Monitor to Debug Alt Fonts

Is there a way to detect what might be wrong with my alt font set up though the serial monitor or another method?

I’ve combed over my PartyMode font setup repeatedly and don’t see an error, but I keep getting and “error in font directory”. It then works as it should and plays font.wav at the same time as the error message is still playing.

Before I start over, is there a way to check this besides eyeballing it until I feel crazy?

Yes, remove DISABLE_DIAGNOSTIC_COMMANDS and type ‘effects’ in Serial Monitor.

some housekeeping if you can select the advise that resolved the issue as a “Solution” then people can see what fixed it in the end and cleans up the post so people know it’s fixed.
