My 89 Sabers Qui Gon sound abruptly stopped working. I checked the SD card, and internal wires all seem fine. The rest of the saber works as normal, just no sound whatsoever. I haven’t dropped or hit it against anything, so I’m wondering if the speaker is likely to be blown? It’s been about a month, but it seems speakers should last longer with relatively light use, considering I’ve been on low volume for the majority of the time.
I think it goes something like this:
50% chance speaker died
45% a wire came loose
5% amplifier died
Try a new speaker, it’s pretty good chance that will help, but it certainly could be something else.
