ProffieOS v6.x ALPHA testing

I tried that. had 3 folders.

corriente, common and comun
the main difference in my syntax was I did the following

“font01;comun”
“font02;common”
“font03;corriente”

only the second one worked, so I will add common to the other folders. but first I’m formatting the sd card cause of my other delay issue.

Just note if you’re using Edit Mode and try to change your font it will set to “font;common” so you’ll need to set up the different languages within the font itself.

Hey @Fett263 yeah, I did that in bank02 above and I got that error. the edit files are in the root of that font folder. My current CONFIG is as follows.

That should work just fine.

Would need to see your config and the contents of these folders on your SD, it doesn’t appear that the folder you’re showing actually has the sounds. The “common” folder needs to be in the root of your SD not the root of the font. The voice sound files would need to be in the root of the font if you want to use from font instead of the files in the “common” folder. It seems like you set the sounds up incorrectly. If you have a “common” folder in the font those sounds are not being seen.

I suppose there could be some problems with the code if you have the same effect in two directories in your font path. It’s supposed to work, but I don’t know if it’s well tested.

I can test tomorrow but I think the sounds were just set up incorrectly if I read correctly. I think he put a “common” folder inside the font.

If you’re not running my prop the voice sounds aren’t used so that would also explain why they don’t show up.

I will test the set/ get gesture with fett263 prop file. @proffezorn is the serial monitor syntax on github? how to test the set / get gesture?

all the other serial monitor commands work AND having the diagnostic commands disabled does not affect it’s functions.

get_gesture / set_gesture is a bit weird, because it’s tied to the variables in gesture.ini. For instance, you can do:

get_gesture swingon
set_gesture swingon 1

Out of curiosity, to what value does the FILTER_CUTOFF_FREQUENCY correspond? I know it’s not percentage since I put in 100 and it works fine. Having a global high-pass filter is such a nice shortcut to having to individually edit each wav file, thanks!
