Proffie V3 motion chip trying to reboot

Hi, Trying out the new Proffie V3 I’ve wired up everything and am trying to add a crystal chamber with the main blade. Ive tried different setups sometimes getting both sets of Led’s to light. The sound is pretty bad and barely audible ( I’ve tried 2 working speakers).
Serial Monitor just repeats:
Motion chip timeout, trying auto-reboot of motion chip! Motion chip … Battery voltage: 0.02

First thing I would do is to check for a shorts between the speaker wires and SDA.

Also, you should remove ENABLE_SERIAL from your config file, unless you need it for some reason.

What version do you have of the arduino-proffieboard plugin?

Can you post some pictures of your wiring?

Oh, and what version of ProffieOS?

HI Profezzorn, ok deleted ENABLE_SERIAL, Arduino is 1.8.3.
Sorry but the wiring is everywhere and inside a chassis, I’ve followed the wiring diagrams.
I’m using OS7.12

SDA pad looks untouched from what I can see

Well, the config looks reasonable, which makes me think that this is a wiring problem. (Hopefully a fixable one, and not a “something is fried” one.)

Time to bring out the multimeter and check voltages and shorts.

Arduino 1.8.3 is ancient, I would recommend upgrading that, although I don’t think it will make a difference. However, you didn’t tell me what version you have of the arduino-proffieboard plugin. If that is also ancient, that could be the issue.

How do i find out what arduino-proffieboard plugin i’ve got please?

I think i accidentally short circuited the board, leaving the battery in while resoldering some connections, now everything is dead🫣

Had another go at this, it was bad positive and negative power to the board solder connections, all is working now
