Power flowing back through USB Port

Try to fix one issue, another occurs.

What component prevents back current? I’m having trouble finding it on the diagram and am unsure if I have a bridge or damaged component.

Proffieboard 3.9

Nevermind, I guess at some point a blob of solder fell RIGHT under the gap where the pins connect from the Micro USB port. I’m just going to remove it and solder on a USB-C port to the D-, D+, VUSB

Removes any gaps to accidentally lose solder into

Success!

If only it were that easy of a solution for my previous two boards

Appreciate it! I thought something may’ve failed but solder blob on the port was the problem. How or when it got there, no idea. But now there’s no port to worry about.

Strangely, this port lacked any sort of plastic over the pins, whereas the previous two I had did have it.

All from the same source as well. Ah well. Problem solved.
