and a few of the blade LEDs don’t light up.

The led strip could be damaged.
To check that you can use the length finder:
temporarily replace your blade style with :StylePtr<LengthFinder<>>(),

How many leds does my blade have?

If you can make them all light-up one by one with the above style, then it’s not broken and there is probably something wrong in your config. Post your config.

One possible reason for that is that the pixels are not in fact RGBW. If you use RGBW for RGB pixels, or use RGB for RGBW pixels, the result is usually rainbow-like.
