I am extremely new to this but looking for new adventures, I recently bought a KR TFU2 with Proffie 2.2 from Saber Armoury. The wiring pic they sent me was a 3.2 as reference. The CC has data 2/LED 4, generator says to use data 4/LED 6 and I have found other different schematics (of other saber types) show data 2/LED 4. What do I go with?
Blade config as sent to me (in config.h file) is - { 0, WS2811BladePtr<144, WS2811_ACTUALLY_800kHz | WS2811_GRB>(), CONFIGARRAY (presets) }. Any help is appreciated.
That does not look right.
I recommend using the configuration generator, as it will have the correct matching blade config.
Either. It doesn’t matter at all, you’d just change your configuration accordingly.
That blade config is very outdated and doesn’t really include anything useful. You’re probably better off creating a new one.
If you have a wiring diagram reference for your specific kit, I’d say just follow that. If you know the wiring (since you’re the one wiring it), creating a new config is easy with ProffieConfig:

Interesting. I must have switched to proffie when WS281XBladePtr was already standard. Also never thought about confronting old configs. Thanks!
