Can i make a lockup effect have multiple colors like running up and down the blade? (like can i set it to orange and red in an unstable ripple or something?)
Depending on what you’re after you can apply a “Color Type” to the effect in the library for a “Color Shift (Rotating)” or a “Gradient Wave”, set the Lockup Color to Red and apply a 3000 or 3200 Shift Value.
If you’re wanting something a bit more specific it is certainly possible but you’d probably have to build in Style Editor.
I’m trying to replicate a blade style i saw that turns to red and white when you swing it (not fire blade, it stiffens into like a candy cane style when swung). Like how do i make it to where it has multiple colors at once as a reaction to being swung or lockup? From what i see doing a color shift only changes it to a single color with an effect (like base effect on a swing doesn’t seem to have any difference between setting it to a solid color or doing a color shift with a gradient valule to that color since the color type doesn’t affect how the affect happens, just what color it is when it does.)
That sounds like something someone custom coded, that’s a bit too specific for the library. Anything is technically possible if you can write it. You probably want to try to build in the Style Editor.
ok thx. also, whenever i hit swing in the library on this style it starts changing the base color as well (not just for the duration of the swing. It was 2 color audio flicker and going between blue and green, but when i click swing it changes to purple and green when I’m done swinging. I’ve only applied a responsive blade effect with audioflicker full blade that changes to green when swung. Nothing else) If i spam any other affett tho it works fine and doesn’t stop being blue
oh nvm found the culprit lol
That is likely a bug in the script. Just use the “Questions or Issues” link at top of library to report it, let me know the exact options you selected that generated the error message and I’ll try to have a look this weekend.
aight man.
