I dropped my thermal detonator on the v2.2 board that’s supposed to go in it. From looking at the diagrams, it looks like it smashed the component Y1. Oscillator
Will the board function without it? What is lost?
I plan on getting a new board, but perhaps this can be used as a test bed board for future installs…?
Y1 is the main crystal, I’m not sure if it will work without, or how well.

I agree. It was impressive (in a bad way), the bottom if the td slipped out of my hand over my large desk, only to find the very tiny proffie.
