Using the new MENU\_SPEC\_TEMPLATE FETT263\_MENU\_SPEC on 2 button is pretty straight forward but I can’t seem to figure out how to exit menus on a 1 button setup.

@Fett263 how do you exit menus on a 1 button setup?

That’s a good question, I don’t actually know. I added the support for the new menu system but I don’t see 1 button listed in the documentation and I don’t use 1 button on any of my sabers.

This is from the select\_cancel\_mode.h file

```auto
  bool mode_Event2(enum BUTTON button, EVENT event, uint32_t modifiers) override {
    switch (EVENTID(button, event, 0)) {
      case EVENTID(BUTTON_POWER, EVENT_FIRST_SAVED_CLICK_SHORT, 0):
	select();
	return true;
      case EVENTID(BUTTON_POWER, EVENT_SECOND_SAVED_CLICK_SHORT, 0):
      case EVENTID(BUTTON_AUX, EVENT_FIRST_SAVED_CLICK_SHORT, 0):
	exit();
	return true;
    }
    return false;
  }
```

When you’re in a mode (the menu system) these default controls override anything the prop file does, unless the prop has it’s own `template<class SPEC>` with a mode that uses a mode\_Event2 override.

So the answer here is: double click power to exit.

I’ll try it out when I get home from work.

Thank you!
