Full Twist On delay possible?

Hello There!

I’m playing with my Maul setup - two chassis, two proffies - one for each blade. I’m trying to manage it so a simple twist on ignites the first blade, then you get the TPM style delay and the second blade ignites. I’ve tried using IgnitionDelay, which does delay the blade ignition - but not the sound.

Ideally, the entire ignition, main blade, accent LEDs and sound would have the same delay.

Would adding a delay inside the prop definition of TWISTON do the trick?

I’ve already setup two different ProffieOS folders for the two chassis and boards. Anything terrible I attempt can be easily undone.

I just add a second or two on the ignition wav files on my Maul setup.

Add a silent preon.wav for one of them?

Doens’t preon.wav get skipped with twist on ?

you can set it up to be either twist on without preon or twist on with preon.

I concur. For this case @Ronin , I’d just sync the IgnitionDelay with the added silence. I’d slow the second extension speed too for drama.

Thanks everyone, a combination of #define FETT263_TWIST_ON_PREON with a silent preon.wav and no blade preon effect with tweaked out speeds looks amazing!

Same here. The dead preon trick’s even easier.

@ronin All I did was just edit in “dead space” to the beginning of the out.wav file and use it in a second version of the same font pack. The first one’s untouched, the second font has the delayed wav and it all plays great. Just be sure to name the two font packs differently, like maul and maul2. Then there’s no overly complicated editing of the preset code for the second blade and everything else works.
