Looking at the Proffieboard V3.9 part map and the BOM, the FETs are supposed to be the DMT6008LFG-7. From the datasheet of the DMT6008LFG-7, the labeling on the FET is allegedly supposed to be S6E. However on all the Proffieboard V3.9s I have on hand (bought from Tritium Sabers, Artekit Labs, and The Saber Armory) the label on the FETs reads G73, implying they’re the DMG7430LFG. This is somewhat concerning to me as the DMG7430LFG has both lower voltage and current ratings than the DMT6008LFG-7. Am I missing something here?

Manufactureres have been substituting the FETs for other FETs for a long time, and not always in a way that makes sense. I have been telling people to use parts that can handle at least 12 volts and 10 amps. If the boards can’t do that, that could be a problem.
The DMG7430LFG looks like it’s just on the edge of my recommendations.

Ah got it, that’s unfortunate. Thanks for replying, if anyone does know of a manufacturer using the original DMT6008LFG-7 FETs please let me know ![]()
Can always grab some and make hot air your friend, fwiw ![]()

Because DMG7430LFG is twice cheaper and there are 6 of them on each board…

True
might try that out
