Any documentation for wiring to a V3 NPXL?

Hey! I’m working on my second draft lightsaber after I kinda botched my first build. Went for the non-LED V3 NPXL this time. Looks like this;

But I can’t seem to find any info on how to wire this to a Proffieboard V3.9? The guide I found from Shtokcustomworx only has images of the V4 NPXL and the Proffieboard 2.2.

The questions I had are; can I still use a single 22 AWG wire for the battery connections, rather than the two 24 AWG wires?

And do I just wire the Din pad on the left directly to Data1 on the Proffieboard, or is a resistor required?

I only need the single data line, plus the power, for three wires total, correct?

Cheers!

Yes. You might need more if you have some super duper LED heavy blade, but a normal pixel blade you should be fine.

Data1 had a resistor built in. Should be good.

Yes. For a simple set up without blade detection.

NPXL PCBs should have a resistor built on as well?

Usually, but I don’t see one on his V3 with no LEDs.. Did I miss it?

If I’m not mistaken that resistor is for the LEDs.

They used to have the option of two, which changed if your ran parallel, series, or chained.
